About Darrah Fine Carpentry

My name is Iain Darrah and I am the owner of “Darrah Fine Carpentry”.  I have been working in the industry for over 20 years and have a wide range of experience.  I specialize in trim work including crown moulding, baseboard, casing, wainscotting, wall paneling and feature walls.  

I hold myself to a high level of quality craftsmanship which I put into every job I work on.  I would be more than happy to assist in the planning, design, and completion of any project you might be considering.   

I met my amazing wife Becky in Peterborough in 2001 and after living in different areas of the province we decided to move back to Peterborough and make it our home.  We have been living here with our twin girls Isla and Ruby and our goldendoodle Charlie since 2013. We love the city for everything it has to offer for a family including the great access to trails and the beautiful lakes and forests.
